Generational blessings II

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

God is a generational God. God called Abraham; therefore, He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. How does that happen? When God blessed Abraham, He told him that generations after him will also be blessed and that happened to his son Isaac and his grandson Jacob.

Up to today the biological Jews pride themselves a lot in being sons of Abraham for God blessed them because they are the natural seed of Abraham. The truth is Isaac did not have so many encounters with God per say but the blessing just came to him simply because he was a son of Abraham. If that was true for them, it is also true for us since we are in Christ Jesus. In Christ, we inherit the blessing of Abraham.

What then is our responsibility as men and women of God? Ours is to preach and teach the blessings we have inherited in Christ Jesus as our identity for believers to walk in them freely.
