Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. The fourth step to financial blessings is to pay your tithes and giving offerings. If you don't pay tithes you are not being thankful to God. It's similar to paying taxes. When you fulfil your tax obligations, you are in a way acknowledging that the government is giving you services like security, education, porable water etc. Only that there is a spirit of discontentment due to some evils done by some people  government but when you do the math, it takes a lot of money to build dams, ensure that the water that reaches your house is clean, get electricity, have security, build schools etc. And it is the taxes men give that those things are brought forth. Proverbs 23:4-5 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for [riches] certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. After knowing that God wants you well, ths second step to financial blessings is to seek not riches.  That is a bit shocking to the common man. A common person will ask, then what is the point in working? Why do I even go to school? Why have more than one job? The common man thinks about himself and his money or possessions. The very first step to financial blessings is to know that God wants you to be blessed, rich and prosperous. This is true whether you are in a poor or rich country. This is so important to know from the very word go because it's very easy to miss it. Those who sometimes are in well to do nations don't see much need to preach about it after all they have "everything." Their sermons are so detached from the day to day needs of those who are "struggling." This is not to say they aren't facing challenges in their context but the necessities of life are not part of their prayer items. Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ: There is so much that has been said about finances that sometimes you feel as if there is nothing new to write about it. But there's always a reason why we should write about it. God perhaps wants to bring something to pass in the lives of the believers who are not yet conversant about the topic. Even those who have heard about it, its good to hear it again and again so that their faith increases for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
