The sin problem and the solution
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. When man was created and placed in the garden of Eden, he was instructed not to eat of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Man instead rebelled and ate of it. At that point God began a move that would last for 4000 years to redeem man back to Himself by using prophets to prophesy about the coming messiah. God did not destroy the devil who tempted man at the instance of sinning because to destroy him would mean destroying man in the process since the devil became inherent in man through sin. He devised a way and that was to become like the man He created to redeem him. He put on flesh though He was God in His spirit. Jesus came in flesh to destroy the works of the devil, die on our behalf on the cross for the very sin we committed and offer us a personal relationship with Himself, hallelujah.
