Satan's agents

Numbers 22:4-6 And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all [that are] round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor [was] king of the Moabites at that time. He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which [is] by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me: Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, [that] we may smite them, and [that] I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest [is] blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed. 

There's another way through which curses come onto people, through Satan's agents call them witch doctors. They are so good at it that they do their services when hired by one party against another they with whom they are in contention with. 

That is why it is good to be at peace with all men so that you don't open yourself to attacks of the enemy through curses. One conflict like this can cause you endless trouble if another takes the matters into evil spiritual attacks. It is possible to live among evil men (who disguise so much nowadays) and yet not affected by their chants because you are at peace with them. Remember Prov 26:2, a curse has to have a cause. 

In the Bible Balak the king of the Moabites hired Balaam a witch to curse the children of Israel when they camped near his land. But all his curses were turned into blessings because the Bible says there's no witchcraft against Israel. Secondly he couldn't curse what God had blessed. What a testimony! 

Never walk in fear of what those agents could do to you because you have the blessing of God on your life. But on a flip side, don't enter into strife with anyone whether young, old, poor or rich because that alone makes you defenseless. It's important to note that strife can either be started by you or the other party who employs witch doctors. But most times it's the other party who provoke you to react in anger and then the battle rages. Once you know that, it's easy for you to come against the devil's tricks by avoiding strife as much as you can. It's even much better to keep silent in case it erupts or use walk away power. You may not be in control of how the other person acts but you are so much in control of how you react. In all these instances pray for yourself that you will exercise self control and speak wisely.

I used to be weak in terms of throwing anger fits and making someone pay for their wrong towards me by fighting back. If one attacked me verbally i used to push back at them so that they know that I am no joking subject. But having realised the spiritual implication of it, I avoid such confrontation as much as I can. I was also tired of hurting others through my words which would be so sharp and piercing the other person that I regretted why I did so. Through that such a friendship wouldn't return to normal. I would lose it sometimes. I am the kind that doesn't want to lose friends or hurt them either. I now realise where each conversation is going when tensions begin to rise. Sometimes I take the blame and let the other win even when I may be right or wait an appropriate time to talk over things. I also resort to pray for the other person who actually is hurt the most at that time, to cool down and start thinking properly. 

I have also learnt to redirect my anger to the devil by preaching, teaching and healing. I don't let the sun go down at any point at my anger towards the devil for the ravages he's inflicting on humans. 

Child of God, deal with strife spiritually not carnally. You are blessed and not cursed. Live in peace with all men.
