Confession of your faith in Christ

Hebrews 3:1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

Christ is the high priest of our confession. We ought to confess His Word when we are going through trials, temptations and even when facing curses. Confess your faith and not your doubts. Confess the solution, not the problem. Confess the Word, not mere words. This will set you up for victory in every area instead of failure you may be facing.

Confession is like planting seeds. They later grow to become trees and plants after a while. There's therefore a time aspect related to seeing what we want to see come to pass. Pr. Diana Mwebe always tells us a closed mouth is a closed destiny. You cannot afford to keep quiet when you can do something about the cursed situation you might find yourself in.

It is also good to take authority against the curse by speaking against it through binding and loosing. The bible says whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Instead of using our mouths in gossip, or merely talking about the gravity of a problem, use it productively in making faith based prayers and affirmations. These will change your life for good. Some of them are; " I am the light of the world, I am the salt of the earth, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, I am the head and not the tail, I am fearfully and wonderfully made, I am blessed and not cursed, I bind all the workings of the enemy in my life - [mention them specifically]." Those are some you can start with. You realize you cannot make such faith declarations if you don't know scripture. You need a firm grasp of the word specifically written to you to confess like that.
