Not guilty
2 Corinthians 5:14-17 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we [him] no more. Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You may wonder what I mean with that title. One if Satan's greatest attacks is accusations and this is followed by guilt. Any accusation is not filed for doing good things but for sin. But have you ever accused someone yet they did nothing wrong? It means they are righteous. And this is exactly what we are, hallelujah. He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made righteous in Him. Now this righteousness was not on our own merit, it was because Jesus.
It's also key to know that all sin was forgiven. Not only for those before your salvation. But all. That means guilt shouldn't override you at any point in time. The enemy did the greatest mistake by orchestrating the crucifixion of Jesus. In it he was defeated together with all his cohorts. Christ dethroned him and granted us power and authority to walk no more in defeat, in weakness and in powerlessness. He empowered us to walk righteously and do acts of righteousness. That's where the secret of the church lies. No other religion claims victory over sin and death except Christianity. Adherents of them aren't sure of their position before God. But the believer is.
Guilt is a deadly weapon. Ignorance of our victory over sin makes matters worse. Child of God, when the accuser tries to raise his head against, remind him of his defeat, declare your victory as one who is righteousness of God in Christ, for it's a done deal, not a work in progress, hallelujah.
