God first
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
God deserves our worship, love and time. Our lives need to be rotated around Him in all that we do.
The Bible says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall follow. That scripture is contrary to popular thinking nowadays which advocates that people are masters of their destinies. Only the humble can try to live by it. That scripture does not say we should do other things and then seek God about them. On the other hand we should first go to Him for direction and then other things should follow.
That is why Sunday according to our numbering of days is called the first day and it is on such a day that we go worship God in the church. We are literally saying that, "Lord, you are our God and we are setting you first before all the busyness we shall be engaged in the rest of the week."
I remember growing up with a tough parent. He instilled in me a discipline of reporting to him everything am about to do or am doing. He didn't want to hear from other people secondary information. He wanted you to tell him first before other people get to know so that he plans ahead of time. He always warned us that whatever we had to do, we should mind the fact that things may not go well and that would mean it was him to take care of the messy business even when it had financial implication. Now that I knew I wasn't working, and I feared to go into financial mess or cause financial stress to him if i told him abruptly, I had to report prior lest I go without help when I needed it. This has been the story of my life to any authorities I happen to be under. I account for each and everything I do so that my actions do not make the organisation run into trouble if the result is not good. Even when it turns out well, it's good that I informed the leader above me. They feel part and involved in the process.
Likewise God desires that we go to Him first before we do other things. He desires to be involved in the decisions we are about to take. Like young children who go to their parents when afraid or unsure of anything, we need to act the same way with Him. He should be sought first as the day begins and in every venture we are about to take.
Amen 🙌🏾.

Amen 🙏. But what happens if I tell God about my plans and he does not answer, sometimes I Pray and leave prayer minus hearing Him or getting answers.
