How to relate with the Father's
It's very easy to ignore the father's God blesses you with. It therefore takes some level of spiritual sensitivity and maturity to know that so and so has come or came to my life for a particular purpose and reason and thus I need to accord them honour.
Firstly, it's good to honour them with your substance at every opportunity you can. Galatians 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. I don't know about you but there's a certain reverence I have for father's and in particular men of God in that whenever I ask to meet them with an inquiry in a major move I am to take, I don't go empty handed. Somehow I feel it's dishonoring for such important people who are very busy by the way, to give you time and you don't value their time with an offering.
Secondly do good to them always all the days of your life and not evil. It is said that never do anything bad to someone who has ever done you good. It's an error for sons, having learnt all they could from the father's and then turn around to do them bad or act in rebellion. These are those who forget what has been done for them. They also forget that whatever they are, someone has had a role in the success they pride in now. It's pride when someone despises or rebels against those who have shown them love while growing up. For example do you know that the very revelations you call common today having been with that spiritual father of yours for some time are the same ones blessing others new to him and they used to be deep for you some time back? Why forget so easily? Don't try to undermine or despise who and what has made you.
In the natural, some look back in regret over their father's house they used to reside in, where it was located, the schools their parents could afford, the meals they used to have at home etc. That's dishonouring to the father's. Wherever you were growing up, it was a step in forming the man or woman of God you are now. God uses our past to be a testimony in our present. Don't even hide it. A free man is not afraid of sharing their relevant past if it can be used to edify others in the Lord. This generation ought to know better that wherever we were while growing up, that's the best the parents could afford unless otherwise.
Child of God it's a blessing to value father's, it's another to relate with them well to command greater blessings!
