It's a personal relationship
Job 2:9 AMPC
[9] Then his wife said to him, Do you still hold fast your blameless uprightness? Renounce God and die!
Job's wife didn't know how deep his husband was with his God that's why he made such a statement.
Job's relationship with God was personal. God relates with us on a personal basis. Get to know Him intimately and deeply. When you do, you won't be diverted by the people who will attempt to distract you from your right course.
Adam in the beginning fell into his wife's temptation. Samson too. Jesus didn't. Other men of God fell because they gave heed to contradictory messages from others.
But for you not to be tempted by others, you need to be firmly rooted in your beliefs. Above all settle it in your heart early beforehand that you won't give heed regardless whether it came from the closest person known to you. Be ready to offend others because you have held tight to your beliefs. Some give in to please the other person yet they are in disobedience. You will help them better id you obeyed rather than flowing with the currents.
Had Job submitted to his wife's suggestion, he would have missed the reward. Joseph too did not give up on his dreams. That caused him a lot of hardship which he later overcame and in the end the very brothers against his dreams were saved by him.
Child of God, no one was there when God spoke to you about a certain matter. And no one will value the Word gave you like you do. For that matter don't try to seek men's approval especially in your core beliefs. Stick to your beliefs no matter what.
