My husband, my Lord

The way I treat my husband is key. Do you treat him as your Lord or something to order around. 

This generation is dealing with so many things like feminism, homosexuality, etc. It's in these times that women don't want to take their place of submission. They want to overrule what God instituted. What they forget is that if the world doesn't treat men and women as equal, that was not so in the beginning. The husband and wife before God are equal, only roles differ. One's role cannot make them superior or inferior to the other. It's the husband who is answerable to God for the ultimate decision making in the home. That doesn't stop the wife from voicing her opinion though. 

Let's learn from our mother Sarah. The bible says in 1 Peter 3:6 It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham [following his guidance and acknowledging his headship over her by] calling him lord (master, leader, authority). And you are now her true daughters if you do right and let nothing terrify you [not giving way to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you]. In your home, is your husband Lord or he is simply following? Can he order you to do something or you simply take it in as a suggestion? Submitting to them will either of open doors for you or not. 

Lord we pray that you break us, bend us so that we fully submit to our husbands.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
