The blessings

Genesis 22:16-17 AMPC

And said, I have sworn by Myself, says the Lord, that since you have done this and have not withheld [from Me] or begrudged [giving Me] your son, your only son, In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies, [Heb. 6:13, 14; 11:12.]

God tested and proved Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son whom he loved so much. God will always ask you for what you love and treasure most. Most times Christians pretend not to be hearing, they complain and try to negotiate with God, and they end up missing big blessings. Your blessing is in that thing He requested from you and simply turned a deaf ear. The multiplication you need is in that thing you are with holding from God.

Some of the reasons men can't give in what God has requested is because they don’t trust He is their source and secondly they don't know who He is in their Life. God can request you for your children to serve in ministry and you say your children are young. God can ask you of your husband; that let him be what God created him to be and you become a stumbling block. He can ask you of your time and you pretend to say you are busy, tired etc. He, God can ask of your wife, and you negotiate with him how she can't etc.

The bible says Abraham did as the God said. There is a difference between an instruction and a suggestion. With a suggestion you can negotiate the terms but with an instruction, one simply needs obedience. There may be things God asked you since last year but till today, you haven't obeyed. It maybe your first fruits for the first month of the year, just trust and just obey Him fully without justifying why you shouldn’t give it.

Dare God and obey His commands the way Abraham did, and you will enjoy His blessings fully!

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
