The God who restores

Joel 2:25 "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

Many things happen to people and they feel like giving up. Once rich and now broke, failed in school, the business is taking a toll of you, they stole everything you had, it might be personal finances etc. At that moment you may feel it's too late, it's never too late to God. He is a God of restoration, He promised to restore all that the worms had eaten.

I come to encourage you today to believe in a God who restores. Thanks be to God because He already restored unto us our inheritance that we had lost to the devil through Adam's disobedience. All you need to do now is to believe, receive and act out your faith.

Genesis 26:16-18 NLT

[16] Finally, Abimelech ordered Isaac to leave the country. “Go somewhere else,” he said, “for you have become too powerful for us.” [17] So Isaac moved away to the Gerar Valley, where he set up their tents and settled down. [18] He reopened the wells his father had dug, which the Philistines had filled in after Abraham’s death. Isaac also restored the names Abraham had given them.

Isaac would have given up or consoled himself like many do about the past having been chased from Gerar and having had his father's well filled up by the Philistines. But he had purposed not to quit. He set up his tents again, re-dug and re-opened these wells. What are you doing today to effect the restoration God has already provided? Are you simply sitting down and simply saying, "my matters are in God's hands, whatever happens is up to God?" Or you are actively moving in line and doing something about your situation.

If God giving us life doesn't require us to breathe in and out, then we can say it's up to Him entirely. But we need to respond by breathing in and out to the oxygen he has supplied to us! There's a God-ward side and man-ward side in our restoration.

Rise up today. Exercise your authority and get back what the enemy stole from you!
