The Provider
Genesis 22:14 AMPC
[14] So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.
God created this beautiful earth we are in. He created you and knew you before you were born in your mother's womb. He has plans to prosper you not to cause you any harm. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He is able do exceedingly abundantly and above all you can ever think or imagine.
The word you know will be tested and once it is proven it will come to pass and you will see it the way Abraham saw it come to pass when God provided the lamb to Abraham instead of Isaac.
What can we learn from Abraham? He didn't have plan B, plan C or D. He had only one plan, Faith. He simply believed God. He had a laser focused eye view on what God promised. He hoped around faith. He imagined God providing the lamb. He imagined God raising Isaac from the dead. His hopes and imaginations were all centred around the promise and not otherwise. He had a perfect knowing which brought peace, rest and confident assurance that God will do what He said He would do.
Such faith that brings providence doesn't first figure out what history, economics, science or some author etc. had to say about the matter. He simply focused on the God kind of provision and not what would not work. If you want God kind of provision, keep the God kind of faith, but if you want the worldly kind of provision, keep to what the world is saying.
Up to now God has promised you many things, but you want to first double check with auntie, uncle, mummy, daddy, a buddy, your co-workers what they think about what God told you. Obviously, if they aren't spiritual enough they will water it down. Instead of consulting non-spiritual men, look for spiritual men of God who talk the faith language. Remember bad company corrupts good morals. Your vision will be corrupted too if you're not careful. It's good if you do what God tells you, because it will always turn out to be the best thing if you did otherwise.
Andrew Wommack says the word of God is so simple in that you need someone to complicate it. Whatever you are believing God for, it will come to pass child of God if you maintain simple child like faith.
