Love

 Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

There are two kinds of love, human love and the God kind of love.

The two are totally different when you differentiate the characteristics. Only Christians are capable of loving their neighbours with the God kind of love because it has been shade abroad in their hearts by the Holy Spirit. They can also love with the human kind of love which enables them to relate with fellow humans.

The non believer on the other hand has only the human kind of love at his disposal. He cannot love like God loves. Because his spirit is dead, he can only love as far as his senses, emotions and the mind can lead him.  

If one only loves with the human kind of love, the love for their neighbour they had yesterday can quickly change into hatred the following day.

Knowledge of God's word and allowing it to dominate you can enable believers be patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, at all times as 1 Corinthians 13 says. 

Human love cannot bear another person's weaknesses but God's love can. Human love can be patient up to a point but God's kind of love is patient at all times. Human kind of love chooses whom to love based on status, appearance and background but God's kind of love loves all without taking favourites.

If Jesus was to love the world with the human kind of love, non would be saved. Human kind of love wouldn't bear the beatings, the abuses etc for it is self seeking. But God's kind of love which Jesus had was extended to his enemies and the very worst of sinners. Human love endures pain for a while but cannot go on forever. 

Are there some days when you just act weird to those around you, Short tempered or hot tempered, Touchy,  Moody? You are not alone, I was there but I left. I haven't reached where I want to be but at least I left where I was. To the ladies, God kind of love doesn't act rude on certain days of the month. Purpose it today to allow the love of God dominate you at all times.  When you do, you won't act selfishly, proud or be self seeking. Nothing and no one will be able to get you out of your right way of thinking or acting because it will be the love of God working on your behalf.

Whenever I hear the so and so did so and so which is contrary to what the Word of God says, my first question I ask is I thought they are believers. Only to give them leeway that there are some things they don't know or haven't matured it. Many times they haven't allowed the Word of God and the Love of God to rule in their lives. And you hear some say, I acted as any human being could. If it were a non believer I would understand their state. But for a believer, they have no excuse why, because they are a born again child of God! They are from above not beneath! They ought to think different, act and do things differently.

Human beings act in survival for the fittest kind of thinking, where everyone wants to surpass the other in material things so they act in ways that hurt their neighbours without any feeling of remourse. That's the best they can do because their god are the material riches of this world. They love them more than people. On the contrary we have been called to love God and people more than ourselves. And not to love this world or the things of this world. When you know that, the love walk will be easy.

Human Love has limits but God's kind of love is limitless.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
