Blessings and curses II

Genesis 22:15-17 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Both blessings and curses are passed on through words. These are not just ordinary words but supernatural words with power behind them. This power is either from God or the devil. 

These blessings or curses continue in someone's life and family for generations. There are frustrations which one can experience everytime a door of success is about to happen in their life. This may not have been them alone but also a number of people in their family had the same. Sometimes it's after you have grown a little older, that you start seeking deeper about your identity both spiritual and natural. At a certain age you either grow more spiritual into the things of God or become a self proclaimed pagan or atheist or you go deep witchcraft. Some go deep to look for their blood lines and fall so much in love with their natural descent. Others go nationalistic, pan africanist etc. What they discover either draws them to do something about it or neglect them altogether and count it as fate. It's after one has ignored the truths and effects of some patterns, has tried everything in your power to succeed in a certain area but in vain and that they wake up to discover why and break such tendencies. 

I know of a family, who are perpetual drunkards. The men are very bright in school but they reach a certain age and fall for alcohol, women and end up in poverty. It's not good to observe lying vanities but such incidents should make someone wiser in their walk to avoid going that road where others have treaded. Such tendencie cannot be explained away through logic or psychology but they simply end up that way. Although the devil has used scientific and psychological explanations like family genes, environment one grows up etc to water down the main cause. 

I know of another family where men who have just become a little more secure cannot live past a certain age. These deaths have claimed believers and non believers. Now this is also weird. Something must be wrong somewhere. 

But thank God for Jesus, you are an exemption. Your case is different. Whatever took others before their time won't take you. Whatever loss, trouble has happened to others won't happen to you. We thank God too that through prayer such curses can be broken if identified and maybe a cause known or unknown. In Christ too we are delivered from them, hallelujah!

Some go blinded to the usual patterns they are in and focus only on the blessing or new creation realities in Christ. They end up not directing their prayers on a particular incidence or pattern which is prevailing in the natural. And therein the devil enjoys a free ride in their lives. That should not be so with you. Spiritually we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, but our souls have not been saved, neither have or bodies been saved. And the devil runs his habits, tendencies and attacks in the realm of your soul and body. But the life in your born again spirit can flow into your soul and body and affect you for good of you allow it to and enable you overcome curses which may have been pronounced in your life.
