Trust in man

Jeremiah 17:5-8 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, [in] a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and [that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

There is a curse for those that trust in man or their own strength to achieve certain things. God wants us to depend on Him and His grace for daily Christian living. If you depend on something else besides Him, there's a certain way you won't prosper.

Man or our flesh has limits. In fact the bible says those who walk according to the flesh cannot please God. You cannot be in faith if you are ever thinking about what may or may not work. If it's about faith and grace, let it be so all the way. The same way we received Christ is the same way we ought to walk with Him. We received Christ by faith through the operation of His grace, then we should walk in the same way.

Believers ought to have hope that God will supply all their needs by grace, not because auntie or uncle so and so will send them money or because their job will get them the kind of money they need. That is putting God in a box and limiting Him. Factor God to provide miraculously and do the impossible. We will never get a full picture of the vision from God before we reach out to fulfill His dreams for our lives. We shall be overwhelmed by it. That's why at every stage, things become more clearer as we go. Some cannot even start because they are thinking about what may or may not work humanly speaking.

You need a Word at a time to trust God and move in the direction He desires. A Word like "fear not, I will be with you, I will provide for you" is enough to suffice you in your walk with God.

Never start in faith and grace and end up in unbelief and works otherwise you cannot prosper God's way. You will hit a ceiling where your reasoning,  intellect and human strength will stop. Let faith and reliance on God's grace carry you on all the way and you won't get stark in this life.
