Injustice to the weak and helpless
Deuteronomy 27:17-19 'Cursed [is] the one who moves his neighbor's landmark.' "And all the people shall say, 'Amen!' 'Cursed [is] the one who makes the blind to wander off the road.' "And all the people shall say, 'Amen!' 'Cursed [is] the one who perverts the justice due the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.' "And all the people shall say, 'Amen!'
People usually don't know what they are doing when they perform injustice to the weak and helpless people in society. They attract curses upon themselves and the their families. These include the widows, orphans, the lame, blind etc.
We hear many grab property belonging to orphans after the death of their parents. This is disastrous. Others simply come and snatch land from others because they use force or armed men. This opens them up to curses.
Believe God to get what is rightfully yours. Your faith won't shield you from unjust behaviour.
A story is told by Derek Prince how Americans treated unjustly the red Indians which brought a spell on the presidency. Can u believe that every sitting president for 100 years died in office every 20 years from 1880 to 1980? The one who was in office in 1980 narrowly survived death because a group of pastors prayed to break that curse which the red Indians had pronounced on the presidency for breaking treaties unjustly with them!
Now it's not God enacting the curse, people themselves curse you and by the power of their words, the devil ushers into your life all the garbage he can usher in. It takes the power of God to break such a a thing.
There are also the elderly who are good at cursing. I learnt this from an older mentor of mine. He told me not to laugh at people much older than me whatever the case maybe. This may bring a spell on you. Now youths forget that time flies really so fast. If you despise old people, very soon you will be like them and in a similar position like them if you are not careful.
Then there are employers who do not pay their employees when they have the power to do so. Withholding their salaries is not right. That money they withhold is stolen money. It's not their money. Imagine they are counting on it to survive but the employer wants to scale up the business on such money! That's unjust and improper.
Whatever is not yours please don't take it whether knowingly or unknowingly. When you take it unknowingly, if you discover later that it isn't yours, return it to the owner. When you take such an item, it means you don't want to exercise faith to acquire your own rightly.
When it comes to churches, some churches poach believers from other neighbouring churches. Now you cannot break someone else's to build yours. It's an error. The mere existence of the church means it's a public space and it's open to all whether from the unchurched or the churched. If the churches ones come and submit willingly to your church that's good enough, if you entice them to join yours, that's a wrong precedent set. Everytime I hear that someone belongs to a church of Pr so and so, I encourage them to stay there and serve. Unless the Lord speaks to them otherwise.
All injustices and stealing are rooted in unbelief and lack of trust in the God who provides for us abundantly. That's not pleasing to God.
