Miracles Vs Process

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Miracles are instantaneous works that God does while healings are gradual, process by process. Some Christians don't want process but God too works through process.

Someone out of the blue making a lame man to walk is a miracle. While when one is prayed for and they get to see themselves get better overtime is a healing.

It's also like accumulating wealth vs living on miraculous supply day by day. Jesus multiplied fish and bread, that's a miracle, but working with ones hands to supply ones needs is a process. It's God supplying the opportunity, wisdom, knowledge and power to endure the process of making money while in other cases, when one is hungry and they get a call to come get money, that's a miracle.

God supplied miraculously to Elijah by the raven bringing meat at the brooke Cherish, it wasn't the norm. He had to change to another means of supply when that brooke dried out. Elijah at the start of the famine never expected God to supply that way, but He miraculously did. So we don't plan around miracles but on process. Ministries are best run by the fiances of faithful tithers and partners. It's easy to plan around the regular givers who and not the once in a while givers who give miraculously. Although well run miracles run best if they receive from both sources. 

God's best is not to supply you with manna miraculously from day to day in times of crisis, in times when you don't have the crisis, He desires that you save your money gradually and accumulate wealth overtime so that you stop living on the edge expecting someone to bail you out. Although at the same time out of His will He intervenes and supplies miraculously. Since you cannot control the miraculous everytime, or twist God by your faith to supply miraculously, you can have faith for divine health, Wealth accumulation through saving and investment etc. Joseph stored up corn for the Egyptians and the rest the world in times of plenty which took them through the times of famine. What are you doing when you don't have any disease, are you building your faith in the word so that you walk in divine health or your waiting for a time of crisis to look for pastor so and so to lay hands on you? 

Christians who live my miracles are those who love deliverance services, and to be prayed for instead of getting established in the Word by proven teachers of God's Word. They conjure up a few scriptures here and there and have no coherent understanding of God's word. That should stop if you need a steady flow of God's supply in good times and bad times.

God is a God if miracles but also a process God. It's good to expect God to supply through both ways, miracles and process otherwise the Christan lacks balance.
