Prosperity
Deuteronomy 28:5, 8 Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Gods blessings manifest through prosperity of His people. To be prosperous is to be abundantly supplied with all you need. There's a place in the ministry whereby you may not have all the money you need to do something that God requires you to do but when the instruction comes you will definitely get the resources to fulfill what God intends you to do. It's commonly said that where God commands, He provides. We see it in many Bible verses.
When Noah had to build the ark, God provided all he needed. When Moses wanted to build the Tabernacle, God provided by the people generously giving to the point when he commanded them to stop. When David desired to build the temple, God provided through the people giving and through David too giving of his substance. Jesus too had all His needs met. Remember He had 12 men who fed off Him. But I wonder if He had ten thousand horses or Carmel's or sheep. Yet all He needed for God's work was fully met whenever He needed it.
God is ever faithful to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. It's important to note that God will definitely do His part to supply if you are walking in His perfect will. Now that is place. You merely speak to God in faith, He leads you to people who meet your needs and those of the ministry.
There's also a place where even materially speaking you don't need to ask people to supply you what you need but when you have all you need and in abundance. Here it's beyond saying I need a miracle or may God speak to someone so that they send me miracle money, no. Am talking of a place when your storehouses (bank accounts) are full, very full that you require no phone call to a brother or sister to meet an emergency, where your fridges have a month or more supply of food. I pray God reaches you at that place. But first things first, you need to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. The Bible doesn't use words by mistake. It uses added, not sweated for, hallelujah.
Some other kind of prosperity is having men around you to support the cause that God gives you. Jesus has ladies who ensured his needs are met, Abraham had 318 servants in his house who fought for him the war of the kings when he was rescuing Lot etc. Be rich in people who are there to serve your God and the cause He gives you.
It's one thing for people to comment how spiritual you are. It's another when they can comment that you have a lot of substance, and people who genuinely love you and care for you. God is not taken aback when we prosper. He's not afraid to prosper His people. Infact it's His desire that we prosper and be in health. And He prospers us more generously than the employers of this world.
May God grant you such prosperity because of your obedience to His Word and commands.
