The heavenlies

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].


In the book of Ephesians we get to know of the evil forces we are dealing with, which are principalities, powers etc, in the heavenlies. 


The heavenlies as some Bible translations point out speaks of the realm of heaven. In this Version it was referred to as high places. The word Heavens as used in Genesis 1:1 itself is a plural of three heavens, the first heaven which is the atmospheric heaven- the one you see, the second heaven is where Satan's seat and all the evil forces dwell and the third heaven which is paradise, a place where God and the where the spirits of those who have died in Christ dwell. 


Sometimes what gets our prayers hindered from manifestation is because they are opposed by the evil forces which are in the second heaven like it was for Daniel's case. That's why we don't fight from below, our fight is first won above before we win here. 


We realize in Daniel that nations have demonic princes which rule over them. Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.We see a whole world trend of homosexuality, worldliness, dishonesty, fornication etc in society today is because there are princes over the air spreading their influence over people. That's why believers too should contend to capture airwaves and spread the gospel. What binds people into sin are thoughts aligned to Satan's rebellious spirits. It's the power of God's word that will set them free. 


Don't get surprised when everyone around you wants to act the way they are acting, it's something spiritual at work in the heavenlies. And you can easily be taken along if you don't stand on the truth and in prayer. Note the word Truth. When one walks in lies they are manifesting demonic activity of the highest order. For that reason pastors should fight lies in their congregations. Anyone who is ever changing words, mysterious, is allowing the devil to operate in his life and sooner or later whatever they are building will come down. You cannot build your ministry, marriage, business on lies. It cannot last. Soon it will come down. Build it on the truth of God's word and it will last.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
