Check your seed

Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

There's a common saying, "if you don't like the direction your life is taking, then change course." It doesn't matter whether you are moving at a very high speed, if you took the wrong path, you won't reach the destination you intend to go.

I don't like hard talk. What do I mean, when someone comes up straight to you and tells you what you're really are and what they think of you. It's sometimes demoralizing. But those are facts and you have to deal with them to grow and become better.

Sometimes this is typical of most believers we confuse the realities we have in the Spirit from the facts we are actually walking in at present. We overly look at what we hope to see than what is actually in the here and now. This is not bad but we need to strike a balance. We are not only spiritual beings, we are in these natural bodies as well.

What we see happening in the natural is a result of something we have done in the past. If I planted maize, I reap maize. If I planted rice, that's what I reap. You need to ask the hard questions, why am I experiencing this and that? Maybe this is what I planted before and it's what am getting.

Now this is hard, very hard talk. I wonder when you last had one with yourself. Human beings by default are forward looking. We bury dirt and rubbish which came from our use and destroy it. We don't want to look at it because it's unwanted. But the seeds we sowed are right where we are with us in form of the results we are experiencing now. That's what our theme says, check your seed, you might have planted it before in one way or the other. The important and hard questions to ask are, "why am I here, how did I get here, why have my children turned out this way, why is my knowledge in some areas low, why are my friends few, what can I do to change?" I have discovered one thing, that if I really want something, I will do everything it takes to get it. Now the everything it takes shouldn't be in the negative which is contrary to God's word but I will work at it to achieve it. Unless I don't want to pay the price to do what it takes, I just simply desire it but don't do anything but if I really really want it, I change the way I do things in order to achieve it. Please mark the word price. The price to pay is heavy for some results so don't think it will be a one off. It has to be paid repeatedly.

But there are things which are one off which you just have to do and never do them again. Like organizing a wedding, sitting an exam. You don't do those things everyday and the stress surrounding them are bearable for a moment. After doing them, you tend to go back to your normal routine. The normal routine is my main focus. The things you should be doing not because it's a life and death situation but because you are aiming at something ahead.

What can you do to change involves replanting some seeds sown in the past so that you reap what you want to. Inorder not to leave you in the blue, let me ask the hard questions of which the answers are best known by you, why am I in shortage of money all the time? Why am I lacking friends? Why isn't my ministry growing? Why aren't my finances growing? Some of the answers and solutions to those are a seed problem on my part. Before putting blame on all others, check your seed, if you change it, your story might be different tomorrow.
