Divine connection
1 Kings 17:16 [And] the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
There are many things which men long for on earth and some of those are good connections. Almost everyone wants to be known by someone great who is in authority for various reasons. But there is the greatest connection we can ever have in our lifetime and that's between us and God. One of the ways we can have that established is by giving.
There's a parallel to this in the dark world. You here of the great witch doctors offering all kinds of sacrifices in order to connect to the evil forces which grant them power to do evil. How much more us who have the real power? How about if we get connected to the true and real source where we shall not only lack anything but we shall cause a divine supernatural flow to our very lives.
There's this illustration I normally give of river Nile. It flows upstream unhindered by anything. If you have a garden along it's banks, you don't need the whole river to be diverted towards you, all you need is to tap some for your self through some pipe network. You need the river and what it can do but it doesn't need you. It's to your advantage to direct some of it to your area of interest and you will do just well.
I don't know who you know and who knows you but you better get into the greatest connection known to man and that is the divine or the God connection. Once you have it established, He will touch men's hearts both small and great to supply your needs. There are numerous examples in the Bible which prove this. One of those was the widow woman who gave her last meal to Elijah which caused a supernatural supply for the next three and a half years. It's right to say that God didn't need her food, she needed God instead to supply her needs. So all she had to do was to have the connection made through giving, 1 Kings 17:8-16.
Tap into God's abundant supply of riches, honour and power through giving.
