The enemy's plot against your supply

Genesis 26:19-20 And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water [is] ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.

Isaac in the Bible couldn't be stopped from digging wells but he was side tracked from enjoying them and they were taken away from him by his enemies. There's something you need to know at this point in your life child of God as we grow in the ministry of our Lord and saviour. There's an enemy's trap awaiting you everytime you grow in your faith or ministry, those are needs. He cannot stop your advancement but he can attack your supply to get discouraged or become weakened. In world war Two Hitler was defeated by the Russians because he advanced so deep into Russia territory that the Russians cut him off from behind. His army was in millions but we're not well supplied. The cost of supplying all those men with the necessities of life was so high given that Germany is very far from Russia was led to his downfall. 

I have heard many preachers say new levels, new devil's. That statement is quite true both in the natural and in the spiritual. For example now that you didn't have a car before and that you have one today, you weren't worried about parking fees in town, garage or servicing fees, fuel etc. It's a new level with it's own needs, you need to have enough money, more than you had before for that new level. A new house has repair costs to keep it looking good yet before it was the landlord to worry about that. What can I say from being married, to having children etc. Get me right, it's better to advance than to live a frustrated life of non advancement. If you don't adance it means you are not growing and therefore retarding! So don't fear new levels, God will meet your needs if you use the right keys for that new level. Life is always sweeter at the top. 

But the God given solution to meet those needs with a godly perspective is not to be mindful of the needs but your seed. That's the edge we shall have over the people of the world. Everyone will be crying about increased prices in this or that but you won't worry a bit about it because you already did or are doing something about it, you sowed or are sowing your seeds. 

Bishop Gerald Mwebe always encourages us in this. He says there is place in the life of a Christian where you do not have to know about the cheapest fuel station in town before you branch to refuel your car. Even when a litre is at UGX 20,000 You simply need fuel so you branch and get fuel! A place when you no longer care about the price of tomatoes, necessities at home or even food in the restaurant you simply order for what you want to eat without looking at the right hand side of the menu! That place is real for a Christian but you need to put on God's way of thinking. 

God is aware of our needs but He has provided us with a solution, sowing seed. The seed you sow through  your giving is the solution God has given you in the need abounding world your currently in today!
