Learning to fear God

Deuteronomy 14:22-23 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

I stumbled on the scripture which says after giving the tithe, one learns to fear the Lord. That's powerful. Many cry out in deep desire to know God and fear Him but it starts with being faithful in giving of your tithe.

There's another who reads their Bible and don't get any revelation from it, according to the theme scripture, we conclude that faithfully tithing will bring a fuller understanding of who God is to you through His word.

We attach value to the things we spend on. The more we spend on it, the more value we attach to it. If you consider it valuable, then your money goes there.

If you take God to be God, there is a way you reverence Him as God more when you commit to paying tithe. If you simply do it as a duty, you may not make sense of it but the more you slow down and start thinking deeply about these things, the more these truths dawn on you.

Meditate deeply on the greatness of the Lord unto whom you pay tithes to every now and then.
