Actions and rewards

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.

There's a place for actions in the kingdom of God. I mean those actions which do not grant us salvation but they follow our salvation.

Every small act that we do on earth will be rewarded in heaven. If believers knew how important this is, they would straighten up. There's what I call negative energy. This is when someone wastes their life with actions that won't matter in eternity. Christians should be wiser than that. Any act however much it looks insignificant will be rewarded. There are two sides to it, if you aren't motivated by love, let rewards for everything done for the sake of the kingdom be your motivation.

There's a certain amount of money you need to acquire some valuable property here on Earth, but that's not it to God. To God what appears to be insignificant, is what can actually grant one great rewards. Don't wait to give big, if your ability doesn't permit, start with what you have.

There were different kinds of offerings the children of Israel had to make based on their ability. To those who were well to-do, they would bring animals like sheep, goats or bulls. Those who were poor brought two young pigeons or turtle doves like Joseph and Mary did when they appeared in the temple to dedicate Jesus. This is the same God receiving two different offerings from two different classes of people, the rich and the poor so that no body is left out.

God won't demand from you what He didn't first give you. What's little to you, may be much to another. That's why there shouldn't be competition in the body of Christ. Everyone should act in proportion to the ability that God has given them.
