Are you extending the invitation?

Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. 

The Bible tells us all of us are invited to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb, Rev 19:9, but the ones who will attend are only those who have responded to God's invitation by way of repentance from their sin, received salvation and we made right with God. This is so simple but the masses have been deceived that their good deeds or one's good name will grant them access which is not true. Others are deceived that some others will plead their case while they are dead for the Lord to accept them to enter heaven. All that they do is in vain.

Have you ever attempted to attend a wedding whereby the only way into the celebrations is when your name is on the guest list? Surprisingly getting on the guest list was so simple, you had to accept to register prior to the wedding date. Meaning the invite was sent out by the groom or bride or their representative and what was required of you was to say yes or no to the invite. Saying yes would mean you get to be part of the guest list which would be prepared for. Saying no wouldn't obviously. Giving no reply because you are busy or happen to think it's automatic to get to the wedding reception with or without the reply would get you disappointed on that day. At the very entrance, it's not the groom or bride who will be at the door welcoming you in and yet if they were there you would plead your case because they know you a certain way. People unknown to you, your title, your good name etc and those who don't even want to know will be there checking the guest list only to discover that your name ain't there. You hear people say, "do you know who I am?" inorder to be excused of some obligation or bypass the system. At the gates of heaven all we want to know is Jesus, not your name. People can bribe or beat the systems in the world but unfortunately you can't do the same before you enter for the Last supper.

Only those whose names shall be found in the book of Life will be admitted to the marriage supper of the lamb. The rest will be cast into hell, which hell will be thrown into the lake of fire. Are you extending the invitation for others to come and dine with the Lord on that day? Are you supporting or praying for those who are at the front lines of doing so? You can either go, send or pray but do something. 

Jesus didn't want heaven without us so He brought it down and he couldn't imagine being without us in heaven and that's why he tasted death for us by going to hell on our behalf. What a Love! Make it your life's work to send out the invitation for men to receive the salvation gift, the most important gift they will ever receive on this earth.
