A privilege as well as a responsibility

Joshua 1:1-3 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, [even] to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

One of the greatest honour is to serve God in the ministry of preaching and teaching His word.

As much as it is a privilege, it's a huge responsibility. A responsibility of changing lives, turning men's destiny's is huge if you just pause to think about it.

Can you imagine by the use of words we can tear, build or break someone's life? By it men will respond that they are blessed and some won't.

Just like the great men of old took up the reigns to lead God's people, so it is our time to do the same. Awake to that consciousness and tread carefully.

It's until one assumes responsibility over others that one starts to really live.
