Demonstrate the power

1 Corinthians 2:4 And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

Soul winning goes a long way in helping church members in exercising their giftings and also prove their ministry.

There's quite a lot of potential in young ministers  God is raising nowadays. Speak of demonstration of the power of God and many will do that. Ask some to preach the word and they will do it. Shall all of them be given opportunity to preach on Sunday? Shall all of them hold the microphone to lead worship? Not at all. Rather they can express the anointing on their lives on the streets, door to door evangelism and through busing people to church.

This not only keeps them busy but it helps ministries to grow and everyone gets to know their place. Some other way to release tension in the church is to send those highly proven ministers to go and plant churches or branches. Church planting will not only humble a minister, it will prove to us whether your anointing by the results one brings.

Apostle Paul challenged the Corinthians who were doubting his apostleship by asking them to show proof of it. Talk is cheap but proving it with results separates boys from men and from those who are anointed from those who are merely puffed up and from those who should shut up, sit down and listen to those who should speak. When one starts a work somewhere and they experience some hardship in it, they stop attacking men of God instead they start looking at them with eyes of admiration. They even start respecting someone who has pastored for a long time even though the congregation doesn't seem to grow.

Every serious mega church I have heard of, you don't join them and immediately you are made a leader. No way. You rise through the ranks. If you were a pastor in another ministry, you will be even lucky to be an usher in the new ministry unless you prove yourself by busing a certain amount of people every Sunday. No people bused, no leadership position, simple. In this way, pastors are not under pressure to promote people rather the stakes are raised so high that church growth is inevitable.

Are you serious in becoming a proven minister, show it by the number of people you win to the Lord and those you bring to church every Sunday.

1 Corinthians 4:17-19 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you. But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
