Our first ministry
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Jesus calls us to be first soul winners before we become worshippers, pastors, etc. Bishop Dag stated before that any Christian is first a soul winner before they become anything else.
If a man desires to have a big ministry, the short cut is in soul winning. Everyone should redirect whatever ministry they are up to to win souls otherwise it will lack substance. Any minister who focuses on soul winning as his primary call will be relevant to the kingdom and will not lack the resources to do it.
It takes time for someone to develop into other aspects of ministry. But before you do, you need to be a soul winner. For example Kenneth Hagin onetime said that any good pastor should first be an evangelist for a time in order to appreciate what evangelists go through. Any evangelist too should do some pastoring for sometime to appreciate what the pastor goes through. It's like leading a school. Good teachers can make good head teachers because they have taught before and do understand the plight of the teacher as well as the students. A good teacher too was once a good student before.
Do not skip the important phases of ministry which should prepare you for higher phases of ministry.
