When familiarity hurts
Psalms 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel against me.
Familiar sons and daughters tend cause damage to ministries they belong to. Judas Iscariot is one of the many examples in the Bible who betrayed Jesus.
Because they know the ministry well, they know the strengths and weakness and can cause damage and hurt. They rebel in times when they should are needed the most.
They don't give their best when they should. They demoralise others who are doing their best or those who have just joined the ministry. They boss around in the ministry, they move out when the service is going on. They simply do not care. They have a know it all kind of attitude because they have been around for a while, yet they don't at all.
Beware of familiar believers.
