Anointing of the Holy Spirit and power

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

We thank God for the good things that God does by the Holy Spirit through us. He has used us to love, extend grace, show acts of kindness, plant churches, etc.

Yet there is an element we normally miss about the anointing, and that is power. Doing all the above is awesome, but the power dimension will set us apart to do the greater works that Jesus said we will do.

Power to heal, perform miracles, make the lame walk, open blind eyes set free the broken hearted is what the end time church needs in order to take the gospel far and wide. That places Christianity apart from philosophy or even mere textbook theories to a supernatural life of God working visibly through us.

The Holy Spirit yearns to manifest, but we, the vessels of the anointing, need to awake to that reality that there's power we ought to walk into.

The good thing about it is that God is ready to use the vessels that are willing and ready to take his healing power to the nations. It is not that he has restricted it to some. All can walk in it.

Will you be that vessel the Lord will use? Yield to the anointing of the Holy Spirit and power.
