Grace and knowing God
Exodus 33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
It is only by God's grace that we are able to know Him who called us to Himself and to the ministry. This knowing is not just mere intellectual knowledge but revelation knowledge.
Revelation knowledge is not taught but caught. The Spirit of God takes you into greater depths and unveils to you truths that you wouldn't have known by simply learning from another person teaching you.
That's why the Bible says in the later days no man will say to another know the Lord for all will know the Lord through revelation. A person who is walking by revelation is not like one who's not. He is firm in his assertions, confident in the person of God, and assured of God's help all the time. It's the testimony Paul had onboard a ship, which was about to sink. When it looked like they were at a brink of death, he assured the people with him that their lives were safe because He believed God.
Revelation keeps you excited about the things of God because you know that God is up to something daily. Intact it's food for our inner man for man shall not live by physical bread alone but by the Rhema word of God. Revelation will keep you going forward even in trials because you know whom you have believed.
Deep calls unto deep. God is the source of all knowledge and is calling us to deeper realms of knowledge of Him that will change the way we shall see life, serve Him, and represent Him in the world around us.
