Spiritually alert

Matthew 13:13-16 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.


I love the words that I hear some preacher say whenever he starts his sermon. He always says, I love my Bible, I can do what it says I can do, my soul is alert, my mind is alert to receive whatever it says, my heart is receptive to receive what it tells me to do, Amen. Now I pick up some things from those. The soul, heart, and mind are very key organs to walking in the supernatural because through them, you are able to receive the word in the first place, which is supernatural. 


We ought to be alert children of God Spiritually to receive from the Lord anytime. Because of this, let your mind, your eyes, ears, and feelings not be dull at anyone point because they are your primary senses by which you will feel after God. Remember, God will always be acting supernaturally towards us, but it's upon us to discern God from the natural day to day activities. 


Your mind is the centre of your thoughts. Through them, God can place his very thoughts by which He can change your life and those around you. Your ears to hear the voice of God in the busyness of life. God is always speaking, but are you always hearing or alert to receive from Him? Your feelings are a way God can speak. When the Lord is moving powerfully, for example, in a healing service, the power of God can be felt through people's emotions. Sometimes, it leads them to weep, some to laugh some to feel like electricity, and some feel a deep, warm feeling of love and compassion through them. Our eyes are also powerful organs for the supernatural. By the eyes, you can really see that God is touching someone in a prayer meeting or being used to God powerfully because of the results and the fruit they are producing. 


Be alert always to discern God through your senses.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
