All knowing
Matthew 10:29-30 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.
God is omniscient. He is all-knowing. God knows all there is to be known. Every detail concerning us He is aware of it.
Those who serve idols have impersonal gods. Our God knows when a bird that is valued at almost nothing drops dead to the ground. He is aware when you lose a single strand of your hair. I thought He had wars to sort in wartorn areas, heavenly business, or even more important things to sort besides me. He is focused intent on you as much as He is aware of other things, hallelujah.
One of the things that made me fall deeply in love with God was the level of intimacy God has with us. What bothers us bothers Him. We are not like slaves who are sent out to work, yet they aren't so much appreciated or valued. We are of much value to God. A value which some abuse by saying, "we can thus do whatever we want, after all God values us."
I have also seen this trait in some great men of God that I have a privilege to get close to. You may think that interacting with them they will ask you about the ministry only. On the contrary, they ask you about the family, your relatives, the struggles you are facing, etc. Some get annoyed when they hear that you went through a trying time and you didn't inform them. Or you are starting a building project or purchasing a piece of property, and you never told them anything about it. Although they desire fruit, they also desire intimacy and journey along with you. With such matchless love and care, many stick to serving God in their ministry all their lives.
You thus cannot afford to utter idle words like, why me Lord? Do you care, Lord? At least let idol worshippers utter those, not you who has a God who knows you intimately.
God minds the details of our lives, and that should set us on firm ground. Always be armed with such knowledge.
