Omnipresent
Psalms 46:1 To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth. God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
God is everywhere at all times. He is not limited by space or time. The Bible says He is our present help in times of need. This means that whatever you may be going through, God is there in the midst of it. Remember the story of the apostles when they were aboard a sinking ship? Jesus, too, was in the boat.
As we have mentioned previously, avoid idle statements like, "Where are you, God?" Because He is right there with you in that situation. The Bible records that even in hell, God is there. How about you and I who are on earth? I remember when we were children, and in the night, you needed someone to escort you in thick darkness to go ease yourself in a pit latrine that was some distance away from the main house. On days when power blacked out, and you are doing your business, if you sense that your escort is nolonger in the vicinity, keeping watch over you, you either brave it up or for much fear you run out yet you haven't completely finished what you were doing. We had no cell phones to light up the place. Candles would do but would lose their light because of excessive wind. So all you had was your friend or relative who escorted you!
Likewise, all we have is God. In the thick darkness, He is your light. Even when someone is in a crowd still they can feel lonely. But may you not be like those. Instead, may you be assured of God's abiding presence everywhere you go. May you walk in faith every day knowing fully that God is with you. That should bring you comfort, confidence, and encouragement at all times.
