Thanksgiving I

Psalms 119:164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

The Psalmist has stated that seven times a day he praises the Lord. In a similar vein we should give thanks as habit and everybody has a reason to thank God. 

Through thanksgiving we are able to push ahead. It is common for people to pray more than they do give thanks but that should be the opposite to us. With thanksgiving you can never go amiss. We will always live excellently and lead wherever God places us. Daniel prayed three times a day but he was never removed from places of influence. He served under three kings!

Maybe you think thanksgiving is only to do with money. No it's not. Use your talent as a way of expressing thanks to God. Thank God with your lips everyday. The miracle of feeding the 5000 John was possible because Jesus first gave thanks. 

Let thanksgiving be your daily attitude

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
