Good gifts

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

God is a giver and not a taker. This means Job accusing God as a taker was incorrect since he didn't know what was going on behind the scenes. 

Three kinds of gifts you may anticipate to get this year and these include the gifts from the Father, Gifts from the Holy Spirit and Gifts from men. God has given to us men as gifts. Look at ministers of God as your gifts. The way you handle a gift represents the value of the relationship you have between you and the giver. If you mishandle the gift, it means you don't respect the giver of the gift. This year purpose to value men of God and hold them in high esteem than ever before because they are for your benefit. Do not join the rest who mock them, or talk I'll about them. You can never receive from anyone whom you despise. Jesus came to His hometown and was rejected and he couldn't do so much healing there.

Do not neglect their warnings, instructions and teachings. Do not look at these men to get physical things rather expect to receive a prophesy, a teaching, an instruction, an anointing that will change your life and destiny. 

Let me say this also, have much respect for the instructions you receive from your leader in the local congregation you submit to than the popular man of God you watch on TV or who blesses you from a far or from a parachurch ministry. Parachurch ministries are those ministries which are not necessarily churches but they are set up to meet a particular need in the body of Christ. 

This is what you ought to do this year more than ever before, get the sermons of your pastor and soak in them, obey them, admire them, honour them and you will receive blessings.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
