Homes are blessed due to first fruit

Ezekiel 44:30 And the first of all the firstfruits of all [things], and every oblation of all, of every [sort] of your oblations, shall be the priest's: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.

God is so loving towards firstfruit givers because He commands a blessing over their homes. You are blessed, maybe you just don't know it but if you look critically you are indeed blessed. Many homes suffer the curses of lack, need, poverty, disease because they are out of order with God's truths. As for you if you align well with God's commands, you won't suffer from what other people suffer from. 

It's all the working of God so that no one will boast. If you're children are in school, have a shelter over their head, feed, they are clothed, they are healthy, the blessing is at work. Never take those things light because millions if not billions cannot afford them. 

The blessings are varied. So don't even be tempted to compare. Observe what God is doing in your life, how he is elevating you from one level to the next and you will appreciate what am talking about. For instance there might have been a time where you couldn't afford data or airtime for a month, you couldn't afford transport to church (I know former students whom we used facilitate every Sunday so that they don't miss out, now they are working, have cars, bikes and transport is not an issue anymore), couldn't afford general contributions to outings, ceremonies, etc, you couldn't afford eating out, or maintain the electricity in your house, had debts on the phone always, had no savings at all etc. Now that time has passed and you cannot imagine being offline or without airtime on your phone even though you are to call various networks, you are now the one transporting others to church events, topping up for the rest to attend functions, easily eat out with family and friends, electricity is ever on in your house and have even bought gadgets which consume a lot of it, you nolonger have phone debts and instead you have savings and investments! What a blessed man or woman you are! God has been good to you. 

Now your needs are changing, you want better schools for your children, better holiday vacations, you want to take flights, you want better cars etc. It's been the Lord's hand over you. You will appreciate it when you reach hospital to preach and people are struggling to even raise their heads or even a finger! When you go for upcountry missions and fees less than 30k is too much for someone to take their child to school, or you find a street child with mother or father and the basic needs which are nothing to you! God has blessed you, I just wanted you to open your eyes and attention. 

Because of it, and because of world evangelisation, we need more of it to reach the lost, do not therefore neglect to give your firstfruit today.
