God is good III

Psalms 100:5 For the LORD [is] good; his mercy [is] everlasting; and his truth [endureth] to all generations.

If you have been in Christianity, you must have heard about the attributes of God. These are simply the qualities of God. One of them is that God is good. 

One of the God's generals Oral Roberts popularised the term by saying, "God is a good God and the devil is a bad devil." This creates a serious line between what God does and what the devil does. 

God is good in and of Himself. His nature is good. No trace of evil can be found in Him. He is not the one who brings about death, accidents, disease or sickness. If we misunderstand what God does and what the devil does, we may fail to relate with Him properly. Infact if you think God is responsible for bothe good and evil, you will fail to intimately relate with Him. 

God is good, so so good. If you attribute all goodness to Him, you will live in expectancy to receive good things from Him all the time and actively resist the evil that the devil tries to bring at you.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
