God's assured presence in times of trouble

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Challenges are inevitable in this life, but the answer lies with God seeing us through them. His goodness is seen when we not only survive but thrive in the midst of them. The very things that would make other people faint will not make you faint.

When you know you have a good God, there is stability. Look at how children behave, they are ever confident of their fathers. They always believe their fathers are working on their requests. They believe they have the strongest dad in the world. They have no care of what goes on or how big it may be. All they know that they have their dad will take care of that business. Christians too should think like children who have good father who is working on their issues.

The Christian life is never absent from problems. But nevertheless we have a fallback position and that is God who is never shaken by the storms of life. He is our present help in time of trouble. The good thing about such problems is that even when they rare they ugly head, we experience growth in the midst of them. Knowing that God is with us helps us not to quake or fear when challenges hit. When you go through those troubles knowing full well God is with you enables you rest that all will be well.

The heathen worship a God so distant from their day to day affairs. On the contrary, our good God cares so deeply and helps us amidst those challenges of life, hallelujah.
