Purpose II
Act_13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
Many Bible characters served their purpose during their time. Right from Abraham, Moses, David, etc. Esther, too, whom we wrote a lot about yesterday in her position as the queen, also served her purpose. She risked her life and her position for the salvation of the Jews. What does that tell you? All her purpose in life was to rescue the people of God. Abraham, Moses, David, and Esther are not around today, but you are. You are also meant to serve God through the ministry of rescuing multitudes from destruction through soul-winning, or by indirectly contributing to it in one way or another. This should eventually lead men to know God and be established in the church.
Such a man who is serving his purpose with intentionality and knowledge will have results coming his way. Like Isaiah says, He will shine, and even the Gentiles or nations shall come his way. He will be on the lookout for sons or new people to get saved and join the church, and they will come his way. If there happens to be any little among us, that one shall have a thousand followers, and if there be a small one, a nation.
But what hinders some from fulfilling their purpose is silence. If Esther kept silent about that matter, the Jews would have been destroyed. Likewise, the churches we strive to enlarge cannot grow because people are too quiet about their church or their pastor, yet all the big sitting church congregations do two things: they are ever speaking about their church and their pastor as well. You cannot speak negatively about the two and entice others to join it.
Like one preacher says, if you think we are trying out on life, you will not truly wake up to live the way you have to. He always compares it to dressing. You may enter a shop aimlessly and just try on a set of clothes. You may do that from shop to shop, yet not buy at all. If you think life is a dress rehearsal, you will not really live; you will be a wanderer, you will not know it, but years will go by without you knowing. Awaken and start to live your purpose of enlarging God's kingdom with utmost intentionality and all the strength and energy you can ever give into it.

Esther_4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Isaiah 60:1-5 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
Isaiah 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
