The Holy Spirit II

John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper. Jesus in his physical body was seen as a goto person in everything that the disciples needed. When they needed to feed the 5000 and 4000, it was Him. When Peter was broke andhad no taxes, Jesus told him to go get it from a fish. When they were drowning, they cried to Jesus for help and He rescued them. They acted like children before Him.

Surely as long as we are in these bodies with a failed Adamic nature, we are by nature weak and need all the supernatural help we can ever get and the Holy Spirit is there to help us because He knows we are weak. So many people need help, and yet some are aware but do nothing, others are aware and are reaching out to God for help while some are not aware and are not doing anything about it. 

If you are aware and are actively reaching out to receive His help, this writing is for you. But somethings need to be made clear right from the start. Know the difference between the Spirit in us and the Spirit with us. The spirit with us is His presence but the Spirit indwelling in us is the ever there and never leaves us. Jesus said I will never leave you nor forsake you. That was the indwelling presence. But the presence with us can be diminished or can leave us. Remember Saul in the old testament! 

But you can cultivate the presence of God that is with you and have more of Him all the time. You can have as much of the Holy Spirit with you as much as you desire. Personalise Him. Like Benny Hinn popularised greeting Him every morning, greet Him every morning for He is around you! But whether you know it or not, everybody has a spirit working in and on their lives. Whether it is the Spirit of the Lord or the spirit of the world. It is upon you to walk in the awareness of His presence around you and your life won't remain the same again.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
