Truth and wisdom

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Holy Spirit is a teacher. He will teach you all things. He will make you wise in the affairs of life. He will guide you in all things. You will be wiser than you would on your own without His wisdom.

The spirit of wisdom will be working on you. If you ever get blessed to get close to a spirit-filled person, you will get to know that they are wise. Kenneth Hagin said he had never made a mistake in his life in 50 years. His secret was simply following the Holy Spirit. Some people make costly mistakes that put them in so much trouble. But as for you, as you follow the Holy Spirit, you will avoid them. The spirit of wisdom that operated on Joseph, Solomon, Daniel, and his friends, etc, was by the Holy Spirit. Without the Spirit, they were ordinary men.

I have heard accounts of men testifying that from the day they were filled by the Spirit, not only did they start to get straight A's in class, but their knowledge and understanding of the Word increased. I believe that is why a Christian's lifestyle improves drastically once they get saved. Their family relations, business dealings, and studies, if they are students, all align well because of the wisdom of the Spirit. But Christians have been deceived to employ shortcuts, which are not of God to look like the world. This frustrates the Spirit and bring shame to the body of Christ when they are exposed. Child of God, the world should copy us, not us copying them. They should admire us, not the other way round. They should admire our speech, dressing, child raising, way of work, etc.

Without the Holy Spirit, you cannot understand or gain insight into the scriptures for scriptures were inspired by the Holy Spirit. Thus, the revelation you will ever get from it will be by the Holy Spirit. This alone will lead the seeker to grow and mature quickly into the things of God. Maturity in the Lord is not because of being around for long but by the Spirit.

Once you partake of the truth and wisdom of God by the Spirit, you will hate all kinds of deception and crooked ways.
