Abba
Mark 14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all things [are] possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You [will.]"
Abba is an Aramaic word which means Daddy. The first mention of the word Abba was by Jesus in the garden of Gethsamane when He prayed to God for comfort because he was about to be arrested and crucified.
I love it when my children call me daddy. It signifies the affection and intimate relationship they have between me and them. I may be having various titles I hold in society in varied places I may be involved in but to them they don't address me as such. I am that close person they run to when in fear or in need.
Calling your heavenly Father ABBA or daddy likens us to children and their earthly fathers. You are expressing a deep affection and closeness you have with Him which you cannot get elsewhere.
Our earthly fathers can never be as perfect as our heavenly Father. It also doesn't matter whether you had a broken past while relating to your parents. His love surpasses all and you can express it through the use of that name, ABBA.
