Jehovah Rohi

Psalms 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want.

Jehovah Rohi or Jehovah Raah means the LORD is my shepherd. David popularised this name in psalm 23. The Lord Jesus too calls Himself the good shepherd.

Believers are called sheep in the Bible by no accident. Sheep are very dependant upon the shepherd for provision, care, direction and protection. Without a shepherd, they cannot do much on their own. Sheep are also obedient to their shepherd and have a unique ability to different their Shepherds voice among the many.  

God wants to be everything to us but we limit Him because we want to be "independent, self made, self taught, self sustaining, self esteemed etc," yet when we submit to His guidance, He will lead us well. 

Child of God accept to be lead by the good shepherd.

When a heart(soul) heals

Many hearts are wounded, broken, sick, depressed, bleeding but when the heart of a man heals, they start to live again. That man starts to blossom, to dream again, to shine brighter and to love again. Psalm 34:18, But the Lord is close to the broken hearts, to the wounded, frustrated ones, He is always there. Surprisingly many people are broken hearted and they don't know what to do. Because of the failure they have experienced before, they face shame and as a result they choose to hide themselves. Some end up committing suicide since they feel hopeless and their dreams beyond reach.  If you happen to be in this situation first and foremost you need to forgive yourself, release that anger and let go of the past. Secondly you need revelation of your identity in Christ. If you aren't born again, you need to first surrender to Jesus as Lord. A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also.
