Prosperity II
Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
God created man in the beginning and gave man all things except one, the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Like Eve added later that touching it was not okay too, if I may borrow her very words for emphasis, many are eating and touching what doesn't belong to them but God's and that's why they aren't prospering.
For instance, many earn money (100%) and instead of giving part of it back to God, in form or tithes or offerings or seed (minimum of 10%), they touch it and eat it! How then can God multiply them if they don't give part of what He has given them back to him yet they can have all the 90% to themselves? Take for instance a little child receiving something to eat from their parent or any adult, when the adult or parent asks the child to give him or her of what they have given the child, do you think they actually need what the child will give then or they simply are putting the child to the test so that they have grounds to give them more? If natural people think that way, how about God? Does the adult or parent need what the child gives? No. But the child needs what the parent can give, much more and abundance. If so, they ought to know the heart of the giver and be generous first to God and to other good causes.
If one is to prosper God's way (by the way, people do prosper in other ways too which are not God's way of prosperity like evading taxes, cheating, stealing, gambling etc but my emphasis is the God kind of prosperity), there's no way they will bypass giving, and it starts with the smallest of them, the tithe! Be blessed as you give it today.
