Abundance I
Luke 5:7 And they beckoned unto [their] partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
From our theme scripture we understand that Peter signaled to only one boat. Had he signaled to as many boats as he could, wouldn’t they have been filled too? Obviously they would but at that point Peter had little faith. Child of God that should teach you a lesson to enlarge your capacity to receive God’s huge blessing by faith.
What limits may be the formal education we received in school. For instance we learn things like economics which tell us about scarcity of resources and that even influences our thinking or speech. On the contrary if we choose to side with the Word, we shall be overcomes and walk in the abundance that God desires us to.
Their boats started to sink because of the extravagant and abundant blessing that they experienced in a short time! This should teach us that God does not need a long time to do what He wants to do for you for our God owns time. If it took someone ten years, you will need two days! Again our limitations sometimes come from the processes we go through naturally, someone spends about a quarter of their life in school before they graduate and they tend to think God will take that long to work to bless them. They forget that supernaturally God can work a miracle in an instance.
What is it that you are expecting God to do in your life? Time is not a factor to God. Do not say am about 40 years and I have not done A, B, C. Just believe Him, draw your net and you will have a huge catch. God is going to do it in a short time because He is able.
Naturally, do you know that fish cannot be caught except in the early mornings or late evening. I believe Jesus was neither in such times when He went fishing with them. Perhaps it was afternoon time. It means Jesus defied all natural laws and did a miracle in such a short and unusual time!
In the same way, Jesus' blessing to you will defy all the laws of nature because He is a God of abundance, hallelujah!
