"Praise God"

Genesis 29:35 And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

God’s ways are ways of grace and thus deserves all our praise. 

We do utter words of praise unconsciously. While meeting a Christian, instead of saying 'hello' we normally say, 'praise God.' This is so common in that if you are not conversant with saying 'Amen' you are thought of one who is not born again.

"Praise God" is not only the way we greet each other but a declaration of our lifestyle in that regardless of what we are going through, it is a powerful declaration of our victory. When we live like that, always praising God, we will see victories. Mind you we live in a fallen world and there are things that come against us to trouble us. But regardless of what you and I may be going through, we should keep praising God and always keep our confession of praise. 

When we "Praise God", we are declaring to the heavenlies that our God is worthy of praise. We are not waking up a sleeping crowd when we say praise the Lord. We are reminding ourselves, the people and the devil as well that our God is a good God and has good plans for us.

Child of God, you should not be sad at any single time. Instead, reflect on God's goodness by offering praise to His name, hallelujah!

A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also. God first

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God deserves our worship, love and time. Our lives need to be rotated around Him in all that we do.  The Bible says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall follow. That scripture is contrary to popular thinking nowadays which advocates that people are masters of their destinies. Only the humble can try to live by it. That scripture does not say we should do other things and then seek God about them. On the other hand we should first go to Him for direction and then other things should follow.  That is why Sunday according to our numbering of days is called the first day and it is on such a day that we go worship God in the church.
