Soul winning I

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Vs 17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

People usually pray for the wrong things in church. People pray that may God bring more people in to His church yet they should be praying for more evangelists to go out and bring people into the church. 

People out there are ready to receive the gospel and enter church but there are not enough evangelists to bring them. We cannot be comfortable with the numbers we have in our ministries yet there are many people are out there.

The disciples of Christ were sent to preach the gospel and returned with joy and even demons were subject to them through Jesus' name. Joy is not prayed for. It comes through soul winning. You won't be found stressed or bored He fills you with joy as you win souls. You also won't need external things like football to entertain you. 

If only your eyes ever open to the harvest field, it will change the quality of your life. You will be energised in the service of the Lord, hallelujah.

A year of good things

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Years represent new seasons. Every season God has a specific word for us His children that we need to run with. When we run the year based on that Word, our results will be evident. In this season as the Streams of life and Nations churches God gave us a word through our Father Bishop Gerald Mwebe that we are going to have good things.  Last year 2025, was a year of great grace. This year God prophetically is giving us good things. One of the good things He has already given us is the gospel. The gospel is the message we preach and live by. We need to realise as believers that we have a message which will touch lives not only in this world but for eternity. The gospel is not only for non believers but for nonbelievers also. God first

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. God deserves our worship, love and time. Our lives need to be rotated around Him in all that we do.  The Bible says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall follow. That scripture is contrary to popular thinking nowadays which advocates that people are masters of their destinies. Only the humble can try to live by it. That scripture does not say we should do other things and then seek God about them. On the other hand we should first go to Him for direction and then other things should follow.  That is why Sunday according to our numbering of days is called the first day and it is on such a day that we go worship God in the church.
