Financial blessings V
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
The fourth step to financial blessings is to pay your tithes and giving offerings. If you don't pay tithes you are not being thankful to God. It's similar to paying taxes. When you fulfil your tax obligations, you are in a way acknowledging that the government is giving you services like security, education, porable water etc.
Only that there is a spirit of discontentment due to some evils done by some people government but when you do the math, it takes a lot of money to build dams, ensure that the water that reaches your house is clean, get electricity, have security, build schools etc. And it is the taxes men give that those things are brought forth. If everyone was to get those services by themselves, they would pay a heavy price.
But the LORD God cares and provides for us more than the government does. He gives us life, energy, wisdom etc. If you don't acknowledge God as the giver then you are saying you can make it on your own. There's a wrong mentality men have nowadays that they are self made, are self willed, self determined and all the "self's" you can think of. They neither acknowledge God for their success nor do they honour him as God. They acknowledge all good things are in their souls but in the first place who put those good things in there? God.
A fool says in his heart that there is no God. Fooling ourselves won't take us anywhere. Acknowledging God is the beginning of all wisdom.
Child of God, always be grateful for the things you have, good health, houses, good education, good country etc by honouring Him through your paying of tithes and giving offerings.
